30 51 Phoenix Racing 256
31 34 Front Row Motorsports 254
32 36 Tommy Baldwin Racing 231
33 32 FAS Lane Racing 223
34 13 Germain Racing 219
35 21 Wood Brothers Racing 201 (+23)

-------------------------------------------------
36 7 Robby Gordon Motorsports 178 (-23)
37 71 TRG Motorsports 176
38 38 Front Row Motorsports 173
39 37 Front Row Motorsports 123

Note: 21 team not scheduled to race next week, 7 team will be locked in a Sonoma.
A finish of 20th or better would move RGM into the Top 35 and locked in at Daytona, as long as RGM finishes ahead of the 71 and 38.

I think Miles proved himself at Montreal last year. He was dead right with the fuel mileage at that race. He knew they wouldn't make it, but they couldn't do anything about it.

He also had a kick ass attitude when being interviewed by ESPN!
Actually Miles proved his INEXPERIENCE at Montreal. The correct call with 15-20 laps to go would have won that race and it would have been obvious to any of the top crew chiefs. It wasn't bad luck, that race was ours to win, and we didn't.
I'm not sure Robby would/was listening.Miles hands are somewhat tied if you know what I mean.
Mike - Agreed.
Robert, Geez your right only finished 2nd there last year and would have won if the crappy yellow didnt fly while he was in the lead in 2009 pretty crappy track record for the 7 at Sonoma.
If the 7 is in the top 35 when Daytona rolls around dont be suprised if he races, if not locked in no way. Cutting Michigan to 1/2 of a race cut the cost so now there is more $$ to spend somewhere.
With Daytona off the list for this year it looks like RG will just go for the Win at Sonoma. The team can get back in the top 35 this week with the absense of the 21 car at Sonoma, but the 21 will most likely surpass the 7 at Daytona. Not to mention the fact that Andy Lally will probably have a strong finish this weekend as well.

Hard to say how the rest of the year will play out but without a full race at Daytona, the focus will probably be on the road courses and not the top 35. After Sonoma you can pretty much count on Robby not running 3 of the next 5 races and possibly 4 of the next 5 depending on Kentucky.

Robby Fans...meet the Said Heads. Robby is becoming just a "Road Couse Specialist"
I really hate RG is planning to skip Daytona, according to stats, it's his 2nd best track!

If you look at Robby Gordon's best average finishes, his Top 5 tracks are:
Watkins Glen
Daytona
Talladega
Sonoma
Atlanta

In the last 3 years his Top 5:
Sonoma, Daytona, Talladega, New Hampshire & Las Vegas

FYI, His Worts 5 Tracks:
Charlotte
Homestead
Richmond
Texas
Martinsville

In the last 3 years: California, Kansas, Darlington, Chicago & Homestead (ummm aren't most of these tracks very similiar)
I really do hope that Robby finds a way to make it to Daytona to race. He kicks ass there and I"d love to see him running up front two weeks in a row.

We'll see, but I know I"m hoping for an audible!
broken wire, broken transmission, bad clutch, what else could go wrong those things have already happened. In the immortal words of Charlie Sheen= WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!
