132.690 P.25 of 35. Hopefully he can adjust and race his way to the front.
That Darn # 47 has qualified ahead of Robby. HE NEEDS TO KICK HIS ASS THIS WEEKEND!
First practice of the day today and RG seems to be lagging at the back for speeds. 36th quick with 22 laps run...
Ended the first session in 36th, currently 21st in happy hour...
Nothing all that special, I would say towards the bottom half of the field...
21 in Happy Hour, on long runs.

RG says he'll have 2 more new TTCOT cars at Homestead, total of 4 in the stable. Danny and the guys must be putting in some overtime at the shop.
If RGM can stay in the top 35 this year considering the awful results at the road courses (typically where they make up their points) and the fact this is the first full year of the COT, I consider that a success. All that on top of the fact there were distractions with the failed merger with GEM, law suits, sponsor issues with Camping World, and the Dakar rally getting canceled, well honestly I doubt any other ONE car Nascar team would have survived.

I think many of us (including myself at times) are very critical of RG and his decisions, but in reality this year has proven that RGM has the capability to stick around. Tomorrow and next weekend will be very very critical, hopefully the Baja race will not disrupt what I consider to be some momentum for the team in the last month or so.
Next week will be very very critical, hopefully the Nascar race will not disrupt the Baja race's momentum ......
The guys worked all weekend to finish up the phoenix car.Looks like all the hard work is paying off.
