here are some pics before the truck was painted . you can see the rollcage and chassis . in the last pic you can see the SPEED S LOGO before i added the orange and black paint .
Notice the Polaris style paint scheme for the Team TOOL rigs. Mini Tool drives the X-Box truck. We started this adventure for a father and son thing to do togther, since I suck at video games. Also he gets rewarded with upgraded parts based on his grades. If his grades stay high like they are now, he has unlimited access to drive, and I buy hop up parts. If the grades go down, he loses the right to drive. As said before, since he has had good grades, these two trucks are very far from stock....Its like racing for those of you that have. Once yo get the bug, you are hooked. The SPEED logos came from a friend of at RGM.
lol! Thanks James! I actually prep five other vehicles for other drivers as well as the three we own. I have scheduled maintenance programs and time out parts for each and every vehicle I prep.
shock/chassis setups, rebuilds and track day support are just a few thingsTeam Tool is all about! On any given "test" day, I spend more time tweaking on my customers cars moreso than driving my car. A true love for sure!
The good thing about the SPEED brand is the in the short course RC trucks, Monster, and Rockstar are everywhere. Here in Vegas, we were the only SPEED trucks around. In fact, I was bringing SPEED and would give out a few here and there. I stopped doing that now. It was getting too expensive. I would happily represent SPEED at the RC tracks and hand out product for promotional purposes if they desired.
ive had my slash for some time now... bulletproof truck IMO. i think it is now time to setup up to lipo's and a brushless motor... are we gonna be able to buy the speed energy body and wheels? or do i need to pony up for another truck? im assuming this is the 2wd version...
