You guys are correct, 2014 has been a disaster for our race team it's amazing how when you don't win people forget so fast. I guess we just have to worker harder and smarter huh. I was thinking a 1/2 day 7 days a week was enough? just so you know we count a half day as 12 hrs.

Dakar
Vapor Lock blown engine due to running lean. = DNF
Maybe a team problem and due to testing in the Fall won't happen again I will take responsibility personally for this as last year was tough building 23 SST Trucks but we still won Parker and Baja 500 as well as building a series.

With all these DNF's one time has it been my guys prep jobs? And maybe all of them are mine trying to go too fast (just kidding) I feel our cars are as nice as anything in the Desert or short course, it was a year ago that we schooled everyone at Parker for 3 years straight 2 wins in RGM Truck oh wait 1 win and 1 DQ for heli and 1 win in a Gieser Trugly

BAJA 500 first Overall pole position last 2 BAJA 500 races

BAJA 1000 finally had a RGM mechanical with a broken Spindle, besides this the DNF's are outside parts of RGM and we will continue to push the Developement of OFF ROAD and set the stage for Speed

So for 2013 we have 66% win rate in the Desert 2 wins 3 races

So 2012 win rate 50% win rate 4 wins 8

I will take these odds anytime at Vegas

I have a great race team and Sponsors like Speed, Toyo, 4 Wheel Parts, Safty Clean, Techni, Torchmate, Hass CNC, Mac Tools, Menards, Freightliner many more and couldn't do it without the guys and girls on this team that helps us grow the sport we all love, everyone is right all that matters is winning and we are the only team that has wins in Score and BITD and Dakar Special wins in our own cars.......... Not Voss, BJ, Menzies, Jones or anyone else can say this.

See you guys at the Baja 1000 and we will be there guns blazing

Bummer some of you think I'm Arrogant but in reality it's just confidence and the fans I, we have we love and they are just as passionate as me.

Robby just posted on RDC thought you all might to see it what he wrote .

Guys and Girls we have watched all the cars test in the vidoes and I can honestly say that were not scared of the SPEED of the competition and all there engineering, here is a small example, the Baja 500 qualifying in 3 miles we beat second place by 5 seconds and third by 10+ seconds and 5th by 20 seconds with a ten year old design.... realeaty is if you compared this to the Indy 500 field as example second place would really be a INDY Lights Car and Vs the pole and 5th Place would be the Pace car speed vs the Pole.

What we really need to focus on is our Race Craft, Driver and Navigator communication and general Attention to detail with all team members and this started months ago for us, The car is faster than the HUMMERS and we feel that if the reliability of the drive train holds up it will be our race to loose..

The TEAM is taking this project more serious than ever before and we have been in position to win before, Remember 2 years ago we won 5 specials and beat Peterhansel by 1hr 30min from Stage 4 home. I know the reason and so do you guys DRIVER but its the same driver who beat them from day 4 on too.

I take the 2014 result personally and i'm embarased and still pissed of the result, this wont happen in 2015 guns are balzing and so is the team 2 cars will be ready for the fight and the question is who will be the other DRIVER.

Great news. I am sure as a team you will have additional support. Just pick someone you don't have to tow everywhere. You have a lot of great moral support so gas on.

As for a second driver, I'd rather see an experienced Dakar/Marathon rally guy, rather than our US stars. I want someone who can pull Seconds, behind Robby's First.

Who is/was the US guy that entered a pick-up truck / TT, in the Dakar a year or two ago? That wasn't Voss was it?

Voss, Lofton, and many other US racers are great drivers. It just seems there is stuff that is way different in Dakar. Without the experience, Robby is providing them a learning curve opportunity, and not much more.

I'm sure RDC is talking about the same thing. I will have a look.

I'm sure the second DRIVER will be a safety net of sorts in all reality. No matter how many pennants you wave from your couch you have to realize there should be a primary racer and a "If something goes wrong...HELP ME" racer. It only makes too much sense to ignore and it's great news and it should be viewed under the light of team progress and additional bullet proofing of the effort.............I'm not going to run it any longer than that.

I've heard RUMORS bout a few different people but that's all they are is rumors . I'd WOULD like to see 1 of the rumors come true though cause I think it would be a real impresionante ( hint hint ) pick .

"impression" = "impression" in French. So you are not hinting of a Frenchie.

"impressionante" is Portuguese. Translates to "awesome" in English.

I'm going with Spanish. So the Mexican stars to look at are:
(1) The young talented kid that races in SST. He won the x-game race. Can't think of his name.
(2) Then there's Tavo.

Think your thinking of Apdaly Lopez from SST and no don't think its Tavo though he would be a good pic too

That would be awesome! Those guys put in one serious effort last year. I can't remember, did they finish? I know they had an all-nighter or two. I know they lasted a long time, but I can't remember if they completed the race.

Those guys seemed to be well funded too. Their three seat racer was beautiful!

The attitude of the El Martillo team seems perfect for water carrier too. They would really do the job! Nasser did not. He actually cost Robby time that year.

I get that it's ALL SPECULATION at this point. But that's the job of the Planet. Jez doin my job!
