You guys are correct, 2014 has been a disaster for our race team it's amazing how when you don't win people forget so fast. I guess we just have to worker harder and smarter huh. I was thinking a 1/2 day 7 days a week was enough? just so you know we count a half day as 12 hrs.

Dakar

Maybe a team problem and due to testing in the Fall won't happen again I will take responsibility personally for this as last year was tough building 23 SST Trucks but we still won Parker and Baja 500 as well as building a series.

With all these DNF's one time has it been my guys prep jobs? And maybe all of them are mine trying to go too fast (just kidding) I feel our cars are as nice as anything in the Desert or short course, it was a year ago that we schooled everyone at Parker for 3 years straight 2 wins in RGM Truck oh wait 1 win and 1 DQ for heli and 1 win in a Gieser Trugly

BAJA 500 first Overall pole position last 2 BAJA 500 races

BAJA 1000 finally had a RGM mechanical with a broken Spindle, besides this the DNF's are outside parts of RGM and we will continue to push the Developement of OFF ROAD and set the stage for Speed

So for 2013 we have 66% win rate in the Desert 2 wins 3 races

So 2012 win rate 50% win rate 4 wins 8

I will take these odds anytime at Vegas

I have a great race team and Sponsors like Speed, Toyo, 4 Wheel Parts, Safty Clean, Techni, Torchmate, Hass CNC, Mac Tools, Menards, Freightliner many more and couldn't do it without the guys and girls on this team that helps us grow the sport we all love, everyone is right all that matters is winning and we are the only team that has wins in Score and BITD and Dakar Special wins in our own cars.......... Not Voss, BJ, Menzies, Jones or anyone else can say this.

See you guys at the Baja 1000 and we will be there guns blazing

Bummer some of you think I'm Arrogant but in reality it's just confidence and the fans I, we have we love and they are just as passionate as me.

Nother RDC post from Robby

Why are you guys always mentioning a water carrier BS and where do you guys get your informatio on this topic? Its about increasing our odds and yes we can help each other on track like I did with Nasser, towed him out of the Mud, Towed him home on day 1 ect.

BJ had the exact same tools as I did when he raced on the team. Actually he even had Kellon Walsh in the Navigation seat who now is my Navigator.

Nasser had the same tools as well, and he wo 3 Specials in the Hummer.

The way I see it working is, Both cars are exactly the SAME just like the Hummers everyone starts the same and when one has a problem then its a team sport and go from there, there are a lot a variables with regards to this. But at RGM we dont have Team orders and i dont elieve in this like what happened with Mini last year. If I was Stephan I would have left too after this as he clearly had another victory on his Belt. Thes chances of winning do not come along all the time and its about putting yourself in the position to capitalize.

The BS about funding my program is just not the case as My entry has good parters onboard with Traxxas and Toyo and Obviously Speed. I want to increase our odds and have the Best American Team possible, If we had sponsorship I would put the driver that had the best chance to WIN in the 2nd 3rd or 4th Seat.........

No Different than a SST Truck they are all the same and the BEST Driver on that day wins. The Dakar is the Toughest most Demanding Race in the World..... Example Lopez and Creed at X Games, Viso at Detroit, Keegan Kincaid at Sand Sports

Really I Just want the Team to Win and Put the AMERICAN STAMP on the Dakar as I know we build Bas ASS Off Road cars..in AMERICA..but the Dakar is like adding the 24hrs of Daytona, 12hrs of Sebring, Indy 500, Daytona 500, Coke 600, Lemans and Monoco GP combined and the ability to still have some imagineering avaiabble without stupid strict rules. except this 39mm restrictor and FIA Cage Standards its about building the best package for multiple terrrains. And i feel we have the Package.

The Race is watched by more than 1 Billion viewers, Has 1900 hrs of TV, in 190 Countries and our Team has won 13 Specials to Date, FYI Toyota has only won 1 in the same amount of time with more entries running......

I must say RG's posts are usually spell checked and grammatically correct. Don't you find it odd all the errors?

Dave and Sandi, I understand your comments, I really do, but allow me a bit of advice. Don't focus too closely on the nuances of Robby's comments. I'd say discussing the tone in his voice (Sandi), and the correctness of his grammar (Dave), is something you are free to comment on, but what's the point? Do you want the rest of us to agree with you? Do you want Robby to comment, and give yet more defense for why and how he does things?

A celebrity such as Robby needs to be allowed some space. I think it's cool he pops in once in awhile and comments. I do not expect him to hang out for days on end, as we do. I do not expect him to answer too many of the questions. We all know that comment threads are an eternal conversation.

I think comment forums are awesome. You learn a ton. A lot of great experience shows up.

Dave and Sandi, please receive my comments to you in a friendly spirit. That's my intention anyway.

I usually misspell words and am grammatically incorrect when I am fired up. Perhaps one of the RDC peeps said something that really grinds Robby's gears. What I am concerned about is when he mentioned the drivetrain in the prior post of his being a hindrance to his Dakar success. To me that means the issues of last year have been worked out and he is concerned with what caused the DNF at the most recent race.

Wow, I never used the term Water carrier but was just sayin that if in fact there was a lean to the scale at all it would lean Robbys' way. I'll go take my medicine now for thinking the second entry was any less that the vehicle driven by Robby. Who are "you guys"?
