Personally, I've been wondering just how much money was in the energy drink business.....I guess this gives a glimpse.

If Red Bull is paying this to compete in F1...imagine what the Nascar budget is - against these numbers the competitiveness of RGM is remarkable.

Hopefully, Speed will continue grabbing market share and selling well - then we'll get to root for RGM in many, many racing venues.

Bon Weekend.

F1 budget is probably tenfold what nascar requires to compete. Just the logistics of racing worldwide has to cost what the entire nascar program costs. I'd hate to pay the bill for moving that equipment around
The logistics cost of Indy car should be up there too with their foreign travels. Someday, I would like to see a cost comparison between what Penske or Ganassi spend in Nascar Sprint cup vs Indy Car. I think that we will see that Indy car costs aren't as cheap as we think.
No where near NASCAR....They are doing Indy Car on about 10-11 Million for the season per car.......with a couple of the drivers it might be more like 15 million if you count performance bonus paid to Driver & Crew.....That is for the top teams. Some teams can do the season on 5 million, which sucks when somethign breaks becuase it's not like they have extra anythings laying around....normally have to put up purse money as collaterall in order to get replacement "stuff".....

The League Pretty Much absorbs alot of the cost associated with the Overseas Travels......at least they were when TG was in charge......The cost of the travel is more than what some teams spend on the entire year...
A couple years ago I read an article "F1" annual budget 3.3 BILLION to Promote,Tranport, Entertainment (Nazi stripper parties) lol!!!
but seriously 3.3 Billion and this was before fuel prices of $4
F1 is big money.. just in electronics, data acquisition.. etc say.. an example, of the steering wheel..
Nascar - about $250.00
F1 - about $40,000.00 ... average if i remember correctly..
Not to mention composites, engines, gearboxes...

huge difference between the two.. Nascar is pennies to race vs F1..

talking about F1, did anyone saw todays race? it was fun to watch, this guys really use tech in a good way, that DRS is cool, just awsome,.
One of the better races I've seen in a long time for F1. Alot of follow the leader in most races.........the DRS helps alot.
Sure beats my retirement $$$, but the the dream is always there.............
