MWR is expected to announce at Texas that David Reutiman will NOT return to the #00 in 2012, instead the #00 will run a partial schedule with driver Mark Martin. Aaron's is expected to also fill the space of Clint Bowyer's schedule.

From CBS Sports:
Mark Martin in the Michael Waltrip Racing stable for a partial schedule next year. #56-Martin Truex Jr. will return to drive MWR's NAPA Toyota with newcomer Clint Bowyer coming on board in a partner Toyota entry carrying 5-Hour Energy sponsorship for the bulk of the campaign. Sponsorship for the #00 entry driven by David Reutimann will not be in place for the entire 2012 schedule opening the door for Martin to take over and compete on a partial basis. Michael Waltrip Racing has an announcement planned Friday at Texas Motor Speedway where it is expected the team's firm 2012 plans will be unveiled.

Hearing David Reutimann will NOT return to Michael Waltrip Racing next season and the No. 00 may run a partial schedule

One more thing...Mark Martin may have a deal done for a partial schedule in 2012.

IMO- This had more to do with upgrading their driver lineup. Getting Clint Bowyer and full funded equipment along with Mark Martin to add veteran experience.

well not exactly like Paul having Menard's.!
And why exactly does Richard/SHR need Sadler,Vickers or Rudy? (think grandson's in Richards case)
Yep, soon enough it will be all Family......and the 3# will be back on the road.
Richard already stated he would probably run the #33 on a limited schedule unless additional sponsorship is found with Austin Dillion & other drivers. (Most think Sadler since his Truck team will now he out of RCR).
Why does RCR need someone to drive the #33? Sure, I can see Childress putting the grandson in the seat for a few races but I don't see the need unless RCR can muster up sponsorship.

The team that's hosed is Roush with six drivers on the payroll and only two cars with sponsorship secured for next year. Not that I have any sympathy for Rat in the Hat. Remember this:
New four-car cap infuriates Roush Racing. Irony can be a cruel mistress.
Remember the guy who got hosed by taking on the 26 team after the rule took effect? Didn't even last a full season....
Bill Jenkins. He lasted 27 races, went through seven drivers, and was never heard from again.
His metaphorical head should sit on a pike outside NASCAR as a warning to potential new owners.
Performance Counts: Reutiman has been lousy this year with only 2 T10 finishes, compared to 10 T10s by Truex.
Truth is in the numbers....nice job Dave-o
tore up a lot of cars too.
The whole MWR stable is suffering this year. Truex is the primary car in the camp so they should have the best performance. Even though Truex has 8 more top 10s he is only 4 spots ahead of David in the points standing. The next one on the chopping block is probably MAC-Murray (RIP BP)
