The white truck is the old Robby Gordon pre runner vitage 94- 96ish.Sold to Gary Turner GT bicycles.It was sold after that but the story gets a little fuzy.It is now owned by Gary Houston who had it freshened up and painted at Auto B Craft in Long Beach.It's still a bad machine.

I don't know who owns it now...... This video was post RG ownership (if this is the same truck, this was always a pre-runner)...... Spent a day with current owner at the time, jumping random things in OC (this was around 2002-3ish) for the Teckademics video(s)...... Check around the 18 second mark for this truck (i'm about 99% sure this is it

Yes Benny Abatti from El Centro bought the truck years ago. He raced it in the MDR series in Plaster City for a few years. It then sat in his shop for few years collecting dust. Around 2008 Ben decided to restore the Old Hey Hauler and he hired Mark Cowan to tear it down to the frame and do a complete restoration on the truck. It took over a year, but they did an awesome job. Dirt Sports Mag did a full spread on the truck (Jan 2010 issue. I think?) and they had Russ Watermont, Jim Venable and Robby there when the photo shoot was taking place. I guess RG offered to buy the truck from Ben Abatti, but Ben declined to sell and is keeping the truck. Here is a video of the truck on display at the 2010 NORRA race. Both Ben and Mark raced the restored truck at the NORRA Mexican 1000. I believe they finished 2nd overall. But then again the race is not really about winning as it is more a rally style event with historical off-road vehicles.
