We cover'd this when it was first announced.Don't look for Robby to attempt this event.Robby scoff'd in interview that the 5mil if won was paid out over 10 years.

It's a clowny proposal. Seeded entry as a +1 for next years Indy 500 would have drivers and teams from the moon trying to enter, who needs cash it has no value. The real value lays in the warmth of your heart not your wallet.

RG might have been a good oval CART and Champcar driver back in the day, but there is no way he would be able to just get in an Indycar and expect to win in a one off race with an old chassis from some team that would be scrapped together at the last minute thanks to the head cowboy in the front office. The cowboy may be righting the ship that is American open wheel, but there is no way any of these drivers will be given top line equipment. PR stunt at best
