RG motorsports vs VWand Mitz

Do the EURO big money teams have the B@#%& to come down to the Baja 500 this year,or are they going to just call the dakar and central Europe Rally their FAME?

The course is marked and they have GPS, know problem right. They should be able to ACE it if they think they are all that and a bag of chips.

Two totally different forms of racing, but when VW brought the race Touareg they did very well for there first attempt. If I remember right 11th and 16th overall.

I totally agree the forms of racing, besides Mark Miller was driving one and helped with the design, but for RG to be preforming at their level of Dakar comparing $ I would hope they would continue to make a showing at our local events.

I thought VW was building a Touareg Trophy Truck for this years Baja races. Or was I halucinating that thought? I don't remember if they were planning on the 500, but I'm pretty sure they intended to have it for the 1000.

Anyone else remember this?

alan I'm sure you can go back and find the picture of that touareg. I can't recall what page I saw it on, may have been race dezert or offroad.com

I remebered that they raced and did well, they made a sick amount of hp also. I didn't think they could push a diesel out that far.

They need to get some dirt on that....just looks wrong all shiny .
