I think if the 49 misses some races that the sponsorship goes to the 7. But that is just my thought.

TOG denied it here... but PENSKE never did that I can find. Claire B Lang is the one who broke the story and she is not one to flippantly throw things out there. My take... there was conversation that never made it past that.

On racetalkradio.com last night, they stated BAM would soon be making an announcement on their driver for the rest of the season.
Gilliland is off the board with the #38 team, Mears is off the board with the #90 team, Riggs is still on the board (but rumored to be behind the wheel of the new #26 team) Stremme? Sorenson? .... Robby Gordon?
