RGM to cut back on Nascar to 50% in 2011?

In the video clip, Robby says Nascar is 80% this year and probably 50% next year of his racing schedule. Robby adds, "That doesn't mean I don't give 100% when I'm behind the wheel."

Remember that No. 36 Cox Treated Lumber Ponitac Kenny drove on the Busch Series? He was dominant for a few years.

No plans on doing so??? He already has stopped by starting, parking and cutting back for next year. Our hope of popping the top in victory lane has been squashed. The future for Robby Gordon is to become the next Roger Penske, Richard Childress etc... And of course in his own style.

And to Matt Gruber, good response and examples there but in all reality, RGM will never win a title or a race for that matter until the next DW or Jeff Gordon comes along and develops with RGM. I don't want to see my team turn out like the others ie; Bill Davis Racing, Morgan Mc Clure, Yates Racing etc........ By the way this is all constructive criticism. Someone needs to out-do Hendrick sooner or later and I would like to see RGM be the ones to do it.

S&p's are nothing but a temporary road bump for 2010. Plenty of FULL races he will run in the future.Besides, you were bitching and moaning when he was running races the distance, so its a moot point to you no matter what he does.

Just remember, it's very easy to run a race team when its not your own. You can make all sorts of plans with money that doesnt exist, and pick all the sponsors off the sponsor tree in the backyard.

Just stating the facts, trying to see a good future for RGM. Haven't bitched or moaned at all when he was running a full race, if it was a moot point I wouldn't be spending time posting to all you fine folks. We all have one thing in common, we want to see Robby be sucessful, he deserves it. If he can't get the respect from NASCAR as a driver then he sure as hell will get it as an owner.

Hiring drivers is just another expense RGM can NOT afford,IMO. Maximize income, minimize expenses.Is my moto.

Big O - Robby has managed to run his life for 41 years, who are we to judge how he runs it for the next 41 years ? He will do whatever works for him & his employees, regardless if we like it or not.

TOG - It does not matter to me at all how Robby runs his life, now the future of RGM in NASCAR is another story. Besides, isn't Planet Robby a place where we all can give our opinion's and view's??? Surely RG does not care what we think.
