Robby D1 Drifting Video?

Is there any video that exists of Robby drifting in the D1 event a while back when he drove Rhys Millen's GTO?

If it's Irwindale you're talking about, I was there, and not so good for RG with the drifting- I think Kenseth, Kasey Khane were there, couple other's-it's all right though, if he has to suck at something behind the wheel, thank God it's drifting!

I heard that after Robby wrecked Millens car he got in another and did a sweet drift.

I also heard he still owes Millen a right front a-arm. lol

RG wrecked the gto, got it the rx7 and hit the big track sweeper and shocked ever one! RG can flat out drive anything!

What was up with the Sony HDTV uniform? I notice it has Menards on it so it's obviously Robby's and the patch on it says Nextel Cup series but to my knowledge, Robby never drove a Sony car in the Cup series.

He did drive a Sony WEGA car at Watkins Glen in 2000, but that was way before Nextel Cup.

At one point RGM was courting Sony and the drivers suit was made before the deal was final. That deal was hoped to be announced at that weekends Fontana race. I dont know what happened, but the announcement was delayed and then never happened. Sony stuck with Penski as far as a car sponsor, but they did support RGM with electronics for the pit box. Even though Robby never had a Sony car or wore the suit again they did have the Sony name on the box all year.

As we all know sponsorship comes in all forms.

I think the Sony deal goes through if his acquisition of Yates Racing was a success.
