NASCAR The Game 2011 has consider that Robby Gordon must be the secondary driver (a) of the #7 car and led Danica Patrick be the "main #7 driver", even when Robby has been racing in the Cup Series while Danica has been doing it in the Nationwide Series.

My question is, how can popularity be over just racing???

The thing is that Robby Gordon MUST drive the #7 SPEED Energy car, and Danica Patrick MUST BE a second/optional driver, THAT'S IT!!!

Two different cars. Speed Energy car is 7a. We've discussed this before. It's because Danicas team signed on with the developer of the game before Robby did, so got the #7.

Not that big of a deal, really.
so your saying if a nationwide driver "signed on" with the game before lets say.... Jeff Gordon, and took the number 24, Jeff would have the 24A car in the game ??? Not likely. The 7 car is Robby !!!
Having female characters increases sales. It's just that simple.
It ain't got nothing to do with anything but money. I'm sure Danica could have signed up months after RGM and she would still have gotten the 7. I mean, it IS Jr's team, not Danica personally. I could have signed up last century and declared the 88 as my number and, well, you know the rest. I do agree that it just isn't any big deal.

But, what's up with a Camry with a splitter?
