Showdown – “It’s a wild race. Saturday night we are going to hang it all out, especially since we will not be racing our 600 primary. It’s all or nothing and everyone wants it all. I think that we have a really good shot to race our way into the All-Star race by finishing first or second. If not, we finished second in last year’s fan voting, so hopefully the fans will choose us this year. If they do, we promise to put on a good show,” commented Gordon.

Montgomery Gentry ‘Turns’ it Up! – To kick-off the 25th NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, Jim Beam has invited Grammy-nominated and country music award-winning duo Montgomery Gentry to perform a pre-race concert for fans, Saturday, May 16, at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The duo will perform a one-hour afternoon concert in the infield between Turns 1 and 2. Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a ticket to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Montgomery Gentry will take the stage at 3:30 P.M with Gordon introducing the duo.

Salute the Troops – Jim Beam and Robby Gordon Motorsports continue their support of the Operation Homefront organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency assistance and moral to U.S. troops and their families. In observation of Memorial Day, the No. 7 Camry will display the special red, silver and blue scheme featuring Operation Homefront during the race weeks in Charlotte. Further, Jim Beam will salute the troops by donating $25,000 to Operation Homefront.


Appearances - Robby Gordon will be at the Jim Beam display on Saturday at 2:45 pm. This display is open to the public, but you must be at least 21 years old to enter. The Robby Gordon Motorsports souvenir trailer makes its way back to the track this weekend as well, and Gordon will sign autographs for his fans at 4:00 pm.


TV and Radio Times: Qualifying is set for Friday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m. (ET) on SPEED TV and Sirius. Race time on Saturday is 7:30 p.m. (ET) and will be broadcast on SPEED TV.
