Robby Gordon will have incar camera for TNT's Infineon Pit/race buddy

Just a heads up that the #7 will carry an in-car camera for TNT's Pit/Race Buddy feature this weekend at Infineon.

Cool im going with my girlfriend, this will be our 3rd year, we are going friday for qualifying and sunday for the race sitting in turn 9.

I remember it was the first year and there was an Aussie driver and Richard Petty ran him off the road. ESPN with Bob Jenkins was doing the coverage and the Aussie,Dick Johnson I believe his name, had the in car camera and audio and we could hear him clearly on the broadcast yell, "Petty, you're a Prick"!

Yes we will be there for the 4 days camping out in the 50 acre rv camp ground !!! Look for the blue peterbuilt hauler !!

As far as that "fire" went, knowing Robby and not knowing the rules i'm sure it was a closed circuit from the rest of the entire car and if it would have squelched without the big extinguisher mess and all, could the car not have continued. I'm just sayin, not ignoring the danger of fire in the car but the car could continue with the isolated risk removed no? I never heard a comment from the car owner about that outside cause.

Does anyone remember the next week on NBC after the Watkins Glen fire in 2001?....They had Robby in the booth during the Pre Race and he gave the TV guys a burned up #31 Lowes Diecast...

It was pretty funny..
