Nascar.com is reporting that Robby has decided not to run next weekend at New Hampshire because of lack of sponsorship. Robby Gordon Motorsports will be running a car with P.J. Jones only. Is this true!

The original plan for 2010 was to only run a handful of races. maybe 12-15 total. RG has already run more than he was going to previously run, and there are a bunch more races he is going to run,so it could be worse. When $$ doesnt come in as promised, there is only so much you can do.
Very ture, and RG will be back at Daytona. And this is true about putting PJ in the car, if he indeed is going to run more races in a 2nd car this is an opportune time to get him some seat time.
If they are going through all the effort to take a car to NH - why not let PJ run the whole race? At the very least he can help preserve some of the points gained this weekend. Cannot see any benefit of all the expense to take the car up there just to S&P it.
it costs 'x' amount of dollars to run an entire race. Robby already has everything in place to run a car this weekend and make money doing it the way he has to do it. End of the day, it is a business.
its a rollercoaster ride.....hopefully somebody will step up with the almighty $$$$
Former cup champions cant get funding....its a tough sell right now. But there are prospects out there , so things can change at any given moment.
Teams with former cup champions sill show up with that former cup champion driving though. How on earth do you expect to attract a sponsor when the driver can't be bothered to show up to race? I guess it just "Is what it is"...
I am sure it bothers Robby.
Momentum is everything. Monster got a lot of valuable press coverage this week and it'll continue into next week. Maybe they'll see the light and throw some more sponsorship into the #7.
of course, always a chance to call an audible.
As a start and park. RGM may loose up to about 20 points per race. However, with the 71 in the same boat, this will be an interesting race as to who can find the funding to run more races between those two. It would be nice to see one of the 36 or 37th place cars not qualifying.

Real shame as the phoenix car was good...NH another flat 1 mile track..
