Goodyear to test tires at Indy, June 1-3: Goodyear has two tire tests scheduled next month at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the tire manufacturer tries to find a way to avoid last year's debacle. Nine cars are scheduled to test June 1-3. Those scheduled to test are #14-Tony Stewart, #42-Juan Pablo Montoya, #9-Kasey Kahne, #7-Robby Gordon, #36-Scott Riggs, #12-David Stremme, #16-Greg Biffle, #21-Bill Elliott, and either #07-Casey Mears or #31Jeff Burton. The second test is expected to have at least a dozen teams June 15-17.(Roanoke Times)(5-25-2009)

Is this going to play havoc at all on Eldora testing, Sponsor appearances, and then of course the Eldora race? At least he actually does get to test this time though, it seems that he is almost always not included in these things.

Sponsor apperance on June 2nd is only a few hours, and the Eldora race on June 3 is at night, so there is plenty of time available for his test.
You would think Tony Stewart being part of the test would be a good indication that Eldora wouldn't be an issue....
It's amazing how much Robby has packed into these couple of weeks.. hope he doesn't get burned out.
thus, the creation of the Rob-Dometer
Ummm Monster, duhhhhh! ;)
Sounds like he will be very busy the next two weeks. I wonder if someone will be substituting from him at Indy?
amen.
Monster and JB.......always a good combo
come on.... rob is in his element now. dirt to pavement pavement to dirt. ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Not gonna hurt at all. The Menards appearance is about a 4hr (with good traffic) drive to Indy. Plus Eldora is right across the border from Indy. I'd guess prolly an hr drive.
Anybody know if the tire tests are open to the public?
Bet the Firestones would hold up better....
