From Jayski : Robby back to Chevy: #7-Robby Gordon says the Chevy-to-Indy move is just perfect for him, and he says he'll be a part of the new Chevy Indy operation. Gordon is preparing to run next spring's Indy 500 with his own team (it will of course have to be with a Honda engine). And Gordon says he expects to make the NASCAR jump next season from Toyota back to Chevrolet. Gordon, who heads back to Mexico in a couple of days to run the Baja 1000, says he's one of five men with a shot to win the 16-hour marathon. But it hasn't been such a great year for Gordon, who last year's off-road championship but who this year has been hit with mechanical issues, most recently with his off-road transmission."

HOO-FRICKIN-YAAA!! Chevy!!
Hopefully good news, Hopefully some help and support...RCR????
time to dig out the old tshirts
Now if only Jim Beam comes back my 2006 twill jacket will be current again with sponsor and manufacturer....LOL
I'll have to wait for Jim Beam Black on a Ford for my jacket to be relevant. But WTF, I wear it anyway.
they are great jackets...I hear ya!
EVERY SINGLE YEAR he changes manufacturer. First Chevy, then Ford, then Dodge, then Toyota, now BACK to Chevy!
@Elliot,2010 is the second year with Toyota power.05 and 06 was two years of Chevrolet,so NOT every year a manufacturer change but close.Do you really think Robby should have stuck with Ford or Dodge?
With the Indy announcement and RGOR using Chevrolet power this move makes sense.IMO
EGR makes a lot of sense.... chevy in both Nascar and Indy.....
it only makes sense if he can be competitive in every series he runs. If RGM can't get the same quality of engines as he had with TRIAD, and loses the gains made with the Toyotas in the past few weeks, it's not such a good idea.
count the cars in the chase with EGR hp. I wouldn't care what I got served, if I was eatin at that table, ya dig? Robby's cars with EGR hp would (imo will) be interesting to see at plates & rc's next year.
Well if you look at that they are quite a bit higher then RGM.... Plus winning the biggest two paydays this year as well.... I would have to say it would be better then racing for the top 35 every week.
