Robby to get some cars and assistance from MWR ????

Okay, just reporting...heard on a radio show while they were recapping the deals going on over the off season and they mentioned Robby switching to Toyota, but they said he would be getting some cars (chassis maybe?) and some assistance on the euqipment side from Michael Waltrip Racing, and motors and technical support from Triad (now Triad Racing Technologies?)

ANyone else heard this or have any info...TOG?

Oh no, that is not good. MWR equipment might be decent at this point, but the Triad stuff is terrible. MWR used the Triad stuff until TRD stepped in and helped create a custom in house chassis, and we all know how MWR ran before the second half of this year.

Also, from a logistics standpoint, MWR will be supporting the #00, the #55, the #47, and the #13. Thats spreading a mediocre organization pretty thin if you ask me.

The initial reports said motors from TRD... or so I thought?
TRIAD mostly does NNS and CWTS motors.

As for chassis... RGM can use all the help they can get. No matter where it comes from.

TTCOT -the cookie cutter chassis with input from the off-road guys that Robby ran the end of the season with. I also believe engines striaght from TRD will be up to the task!

Okay, read it's TRD that will supply engines & technical support, but some cars & equipment will come from MWR (again no clarification if it's cars , chassis or what type of equipment.

Guess it's better than anything from GEM
