WRC Racing

I realize an SST might miss the mark completely when is comes class restrictions, but restrictions aside, could an SST be made to be competitive in WRC? Basically, set-up for less jumping and more precision cornering.

Just talking dream talk, I would love to see RGM run a few seasons of WRC with the talented young Creed behind the wheel.

This is not said as a slight on Robby's driving skills, I'm seeing Robby more and more as the heart of a really fun enterprise. He does not have to be behind the wheel in all he does.

This post is for chat'n fun. What's possible here? Set me straight.

The orange "WRC Racing" at the top of my post, is a link to some WRC racing footage.

I'm sorry, there are so many Abbr.s out there, I forgot what "WCR" stands for.........

Speedy7, something's telling me I've encountered sarcasm. It's World Rally Championship. As far as I know there might be dozens of similar series, so even more so to your point of "What this?"

The orange "WRC Racing" at the top of my post takes you to a Youtube link.

I wonder about such a thing because I'm wondering what will it take to make Robby's Dakar effort more competitive?

Short answer: No. There's some distinct disadvantages when comparing a WRC car and a SST, the biggest being weight. A WRC car weighs 2,465lbs. The second be 4WD vs 2WD. We've all seen how 2WD suffers during the WRC stages in the Dakar Rally.

Agreed, not a chance. Too high CoG, Too much travel, the weight & size of the tires alone is just too much.

WRC has a power limit if 300hp, SST has 600hp. Along with all the other problems already posted, no, not a good idea.
