Semi Sponsor idea.....

Okay most people going to tell me just buy speed(which I do, I have 1 every day of week) and some will say dumb idea. But what if PLANETROBBY memebers sent him a check of a min of $50 and sent a picture of themselves as well in the mail. Then Robby could put the members pictures on his car(like fill the SPEED symbol). This would just be a cool theme and a way to show how loyal Robby's fans are. This wouldnt be a big sponsor or alot of money but since he is for sure running both road courses he could use money and theme than or for late daytona race or talladegga. I know you can donate on here, but there would be no way for a photo to be uploaded. (unless it shows who donated). Just an idea figured it could be a cool way for us to get involved and have Robby involved with all his loyal fans on his car.

Most think dumb idea or to much work.... but just an idea. Thanks

Yes, but 5 million more would be huge. Even if he just ran 5-10 more full races for 5 million it would be great exposure for SPEED and RGM

3 million to run all races in the truck series
7 million to run all races in NW
20 million to run CUP
30 million will get you in the top ten CONSISTENTLY in Cup.
This is based on "per season".

I love the idea, but real hard to employ. Keep buying SPEED...........But, if I win the Big Game Friday night ($200mm before taxes), Mr. Gordon will have a new, aggressive financial partner/sponsor and will win at least one race this year. Just sayin'........

No offence to anyone here, since I know your hearts are in the right place, but I think fan sponsorship efforts are just plain sad. The only exception would be where fan money went to a charity, with acknowledgement on the car. But trying to fund the team via donations is pathetic, and I doubt Robby would want anything to do with it. Buy Speed. It build the brand, and supports the team.

Last year a Nation Wide team sold $100.00 spots on the car for a race (I think it was Wallace). I felt bad for him at that time. He did look pathetic, but, it worked for him for a race.
