Even if Boris doesn't get his own sponsorship, or doesn't drive for another team, I don't see the benefit to Robby. It's the ovals where Robby needs additional info, not road courses. The only way it would make any sense is to satisfy a sponsor, and it seems highly unlikely that a sponsor would insist that Boris driving for Robby is the only way they would be satisfied.
what a killjoy! but you're right. rob doesn't need any "data" from another teammate at a road course. he needs one of those pay-to-drive jockies from the IRL to sign on for a 10-race oval deal next year. danica? paul tracy? dan wheldon? let them keep their IRL schedule and only race on off weekends. pump some money back into RGM.
Even if Boris didn't find a deal I don't think he'd be able to accept an offer from RGM because Boris has a deal with Ford I believe... but it would be cool if Robby could hook up with Boris to run the table on a road course!
