If Penske want Hornish in a cup car he would have him in a cup car. He certainly doesn't have to scrape his penny's together to be able to afford to race. He could probably pay the full cost of a cup car for Hornish out of his petty cash fund. He might want to see Hornsih do good in cup but not bad enough to keep paying for it.

As far as guessing goes "This Hornish Theory"might have some substance. But Robby being Robby could pull a rabbit out of the hat ...get sponsership and find himsef racing the whole series with the way he raced Daytona!! Without a doubt that was some kind of driving out of Robby at Daytona and I'm pissed he finished behind Gilliand because his car was as good or better So I'll take a top (20) at a "wreckfest" and look forward to the series.Just my 2 pesos

Points really dont mean that much to RGM since theyre running part time, especially after just 1 race.

But if you need to know. Robby is 15th in drivers and 16th in owners with 29 points.

It is so important to lead a lap every race. If you could lead a lap every race of the season it would be like two wins. You could overcome two DNFs with that. Go for leading every race even if it risks a position that day. Cuz those are solid points.

"Crash" Hornish cant even keep a car on the track. Dude wrecks out almost every week. He's got the same luck that Robby has not that all of it is his fault. Having said that the Penske help would be nice but i wouldnt even bet on that...
