@Lucky 119, I could give a rats ass, a numbers a number. But if Robby plans to run the number 44 ,it'll have to be 44g becouse I'm 44 or 44K
:) I like you man. I'd be all for the 44RG
I think if you told an Earnhardt fan 20 years ago that once DE3 died, we'd retire his number until Mike Dillon's kid wanted it, they'd slap the taste out of your mouth. Just my opinion.
You cant be more right on about Dillon, hope your just as right about cup
Ask Roger Penske what it would take to run the 3 or 6 for your own team...
Tony took the 14 for his own team because of A.J. I don't think a number means nothing in open-wheel.
Look for RGM's primary car in CUP to be the # 7
way too early.

Lets get through Pocono, Watkins Glen, Montreal..
If he gives up the 7 after what he went through to get it.....................Richard Childress wanted it real bad !! (Jack) Rob stated it was in honor/because of Alan Kulwicki and the photo in his office a testament and...........I mean a mans number is not just a Fn' number, all the way to the grease monkey 8 car fields behind farmer browns garage running a 1/4 mile throttle fest a mans number is his pride, brand and personality. The number 7 has rich history, the: number 7 in craps, lucky number 7, the 7 deadly sins, seven kings of rome, 7th son of a 7th son, the number of times you have to ask a woman to marry you before she says yes.........and she sleeps around still. The number 7 if ever leveraged from under Rob or sold to a no talent talking head.....i'm going off now sorry. In short just a number???? hell no. Sell or lose it to some marketing machine? HELL NO
If there was a "like" button, I would press it a million times for this post!
I still.don't know how you come up with shit like this on a daily basis...carry on
numbers have different meanings to different people, I get that. BUT, it is just a symbol, a sticker that you put on the side of the car, it is not everything. It won't buy you good results. If I could trade Robby's number for one race win, I'd do that in a heartbeat, winning is what matters. That is what you'll be remembered for, not a silly number.

would it really cause people heartache if he drove with the #77 for the rest of his career? Like I said before RGM has bigger problems than a number, if selling it means more money than do it. Robby would be stupid not to.
