There's a very large two page article about Robby and his new Stadium Series in the current
November issue of Speed Sport Magazine. When asked about his plans for Nascar, he said he
was done with Cup.. As for plans for 2013, he said: "In 2013, the Stadium Series will take priority,
but I will still do the entire SCORE series and we may still do the Dakar Rally in 2013. We are
building all the cars." While Gordon believes he is done with Nascar racing, he would consider
another run or two in the Indianapolis 500. He said that the race is a big, big deal and he doesn't want to rule that one out. I can't download the article but it's worth finding someone who has the magazine that can download it for the planet members.

No mention of the BITD series? Indy would be mega cool!

National Speed Sport News?

very cool, glade you shared this. Were did you find the magazine?

I was sent a notice that production started up again for this magazine. It used to be National Speed Sport News but now the "National" is in very small type. I signed up for a subscription and received my first issue a few days ago. It's a really great magazine. . .better than the old one. The partners and CEO's are Ralph Sheheen, Joe Tripp and Curt Moon and they're out of Mooresville, N.C. Ralph Sheheen is listed as the publisher. Ph.#715-526-2341.

Conserning NASCAR - Ive never heard Rob say he was done with anything. Very Interesting

I'd like to believe that Robby would at least race the Daytona 500.

Daytona? If he has sponsorship, yes...otherwise, I don't see it.

I figured that he would not put any effort into Nascar with the cost of the new car. I would think that not being selected for any rides at Watkins Glen or Sonoma this past year would put RG out of sight and out of mind for any Nascar one offs...unfortunate. As far as any type of one off for an Indy 500 ride I would hope that RG never attempts this, I would think that with Robbys age, and lack of any seat time in an open wheel car in several years I dont think that any good results could be acheived. I could see a back marker team taking Speed $$ for a one off appearance since $500,000.00 will buy you a ride for the 500. If RG ever does any more pavement / road racing I would like to see RG and Speed in the new ALMS / Grand AM series in 2014, it will be very intresting with how the rules and or cars of this series pan out with the upcoming unification. There are many mature mid 40's drivers that are exciting to watch in sports cars and with RG's background, I would love to see him back at palces like the Rolex 24 hr, Petit Le Mans and other roadies. Seems like Dakar is a go, and SST is keeping them very busy, I know that I will attend three SST races this year myself

I agree regarding Indy especially if it's a ride buy with second or third tier team.

Disagree, if he would get a ride for Indy, I would say one morning of practice and he would be up to Speed or close to the top ten on the charts.
