Between this interview and the last one, things have already changed and new ideas being brought to life. Just goes to show ya, "YA NEVER KNOW" !!

We have talked in the past about how Americans (I know many who) don't have any idea what the Dakar is. The way Robby put it, it sure puts in scope as simply the "race of planet earth". He may not have said those words but what else is there ? The NBC/Versus coverage is like seeds on the cracker as far as what is really going on, however all the credit to what I've seen in the past for a one day Prep/Production. Maybe I'll call my local NBC affiliate and the Buffalo News and see if they even know about it. Keep those interviews coming..........and by the way I'd rather have parts with me than not, but that's just me. How many recall Robby tearing off his own steering parts and putting them on that womans Volks? I don't have her name handy.

I can remember how impressed she was with his selflesness and mechanical abilities getting her back in the race. We all want to see Robby atop the podium but it sounds like he is a racer/ team owner that wants at least one of his entries up there no matter what it takes which is very encouraging to hear. On a different note what a great shout out for Planet Robby! I believe thats a great compliment to what TOG does here so Thank's man for bringing us a place where we can share info and ideas or just rant and rave about all things Robby Gordon! My Thanks also to every one who helps him.

Robby certainly won't be running that race with two-wheel drive! I bet Toyo will be up for it though!

My two oldest Son's and a group of there buddies, built their first entry 2 years ago and placed top 10. This is a tough race......Sounds like Robby got wind....

Did I hear correctly that The Planet will rebroadcast the coverage from Eurosport? I lived in Sicily in 1994 and 1995 and remember watching the Dakar then. Somehow I never appreciated it as much as I should. Is there anyway to watch Eurosport in the states?

For once i'm better served by being in the UK rather than looking enviously acvross the pond. Eurosport coverage is extensive and they love Robby!
