Never Saw the 34 lead a lap on screen , but I saw at the Scroll At The Top . Earliy in in race I Think !
Anyone notice that this is a Monster race? Anyone else notice that Gilliland is not driving this week? If Robby's season was going better I think this would be one of the races where Gilliland would step into the #49 with BAM/Warner and we would finally see two RGM cars on the track.
Only thing bad is that this race is an impound race, this means that the start and parks will run light oils no belts and any other trick that may give them a tenth more horsepower. So Robby will be in a dammed if you do dammed if you don't kinda moment in qualifing......I for one just hope it rains........
How crazy is it that Joe Nemechek is entering 2 cars...so 2 start and parks instead of 1.
hell, If i had a turnkey COT ready to go, I'd enter and S&P too
I guess the question is how many laps will it take to undue the qual trim under the first caution (best case scenario there is on ewithin 10-20 laps)? Is it something we can do and only be -1?

If anyone knows a team member that could answer that question that would great :)
IMO i don't think they will get all crazy with the oil and stuff. they might tape it up for quals but they can remove that before the race
I havent crunched the numbers....but if we were that much faster at Daytona in what would have been a race trim with tape setup....it woul dbe a bit risky...but you could do the same and make the show and then be good for Sunday...

but youd kick yourself if youd miss not in full Q trim...
Make the show, miss the big, finish top 10 like he's capable of, we can move up as many as 5 spots in the points.. Nascar didn't let conway drive at Daytona, how many people are gonna draft with him at Dega'? We all saw what Jimmie Johnson thought of him at Texas giving him a huge shot to the rear sayin "out my way"
Hope it rains Q out. Robby needs to work on race setup. Does anyone know how Robby got so many laps down at Texas
I missed the race, had to work. His car is so much better that the 34 and 37.and yet he is behind them.
It will be interesting to see if how much of a Q-Trim they use
