Nice seeing Mikey back in the #55.
I hope you bit your tongue saying that.
At least we know it will one wreck on Sunday, I mean two< I for got the 77.
Why is Robby not running 2 cars again(7 and 07)? this is a race I know both cars have good chance of making it.
I agree even though Qual. is pure hp , I Think if Extenze would sponsor both - RG & KC Could Ride at the Back untill The End . Would Love To See It . ( Plus Not A Big Field )
It takes a lot more man power to get 2 speedway cars ready, with 1 in race trim and the other in Q trim. Plus RGM doesn't need any wrecked race cars right now and usually the back-up is the 07 and their is a higher probability that a car could get wrecked in practice at Dega, obviously.
I agree with everything you said Sir but the chances of Kevin being in a practice wreck are minimal if you consider he won't be running in the pack. I would love to see RG in the 07 but agree it does not make financial sense.
That doesn't make much sense, KC is locked in and most probably will run the least amount of laps than anybody, what would he gain to run laps, how to run around the back better? Hard to get in a wreck with that kind of practice. It comes down to funding, RG has the cars and this late in the season can afford to wreck one, with this weak of a GOGH"er field, he should be able to "Q" in or his team really sucks. So it comes down to the allmighty $$$$, just me own way of thinking.......
Speedy, wrecking a car at anytime during the season is expensive and would hurt RGM. ""Q" in or his team really sucks" RGM RP cars are set up to perform in the pack as he has demonstrated year after year, but even RG himself says that they are not good qualifiers....
“I heard” apparently RGM only has 2 current restrictor plate super speedway cars (7 Primary and 7 backup). RP motor is an unique engine. $100K/race for engine lease. Won’t use an RP engine again until Daytona so S&P engine couldn’t be spread over multiple races. Plus they both get caught up in "the big one" and that really hurts RGM in February.
when is entry deadline?
From Jayski:
NASCAR's Competition Department distributes entry blanks for each race to owners in the series. Those entries must be returned before the deadline, which is set 13 days in advance of the event. When the entry is received by Competition, the car is added to the entry list. There is an inspection fee for each entry. That's for points. I believe you can enter without owners/drivers points after the fact. Otherwise know as "post-entry" with no points only purse.
