Will the BAM 49 car be testing also..It seams that it would be a good chance to get a couple more cars on the track...I hope Robby brings at least 2 cars but 4 would be alot better..
Why are the speeds so low compared to the other cars? The two 7 cars seemed consistent in their speeds, but is there something that can be done to get them peppier at the onset and more on par with the other cars, so they can concentrate on just tweaking performance at the track. As a mechanical dummy, I have no idea what is all involved in getting a race car ready, but with the prescriptive nature of the COTs - it seems like there should not be that many variables resulting in consistent slowness. Is it a Triad engine issue? What is Toyota doing to help?

100% racetrim, long runs, different aero packages with the spoiler according to the radio interview. No sticker tire, fully taped up runs according to one of the crewguys.
The two 7's were definitely consistant, SLOW. not trying talk shit or get you going TOG, but one practice today he was 10 mph's off and then another test 5-6 mph's off. At some point, it seems like you have to find speed or show that you have some speed rather than to try things that don't work out and don't have any speed either! Charlotte used to be a good track for Robby, but it looks like now that has changed. I hope things work themself out, but things are not looking good. I know the engines have power, but the cars or setups or something are just way off. I've said it before and I know it want happen, but I would love to see him buy a chasis from another competitive team and see how he does it to get a baseline on his equipment.
I didn't think he was going to finish that good at Bristol either, if cars wouldn't have wrecked, might not have been as good, but then again, it doesn't matter, he finished 22 and that was a good finish. Just would have been nice to have brought a car that had some speed and handling to begin with so he would not have lost his laps, relied on the LD or wave around. I wish the best for Robby, but the season is starting all over for Robby fighting to race with some good tracks he used to be good at and if things don't get figured out, then it is going to be a long season. Just hope whatever it is RGM needs to find is sooner than later, but either way, I'm still pulling for Robby running in the 30's or top tens!!! :D
