Testing Tuesday for RGM at Virginia International Raceway

At least nine Cup drivers have committed to testing on Tuesday on the road course at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Va.

Currently, the following drivers are planning to attend: A.J. Allmendinger, Regan Smith, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, Sam Hornish Jr., Juan Pablo Montoya, Kevin Conway, Travis Kvapil and Robby Gordon.

Harvick , AJ, Juan Pablo, maybe Hornish, not bad road course wheel men in that group, go get em RG, just don't over test and over think the race. Please, oh please, oh great road racing God, do not let this be just a Sunday fuel mileage contest.

Private track rental for Team Red Bull's road course audition I believe . I think Tuesday is an 'open test' , so no track rental fee.

i could be wrong, but I think I saw that when they open test at VIR there is no rental fee for the track, because they charge admission for fans to watch to supplement the loot.

The only speed info that was on Twitter from the team was Juan Pablo Montonya ran a fast lap of 1:30.4, Robby ran a 1:31 during his first shakedown run. Near the end, Robby ran a 1:29.8. Looks like it's a pretty fast ride.

it was impossible to know all the times of each driver. Juan & Harvick had the best times from when I recorded times. Robby had a real good lap going on his last run, then it started pouring and he got slideways out of the last turn , but he was on par for another high 129. They are testing the road car twice more next week, so yesterdays test was more of a function test . The first webepisode will have a great look at the test.

Fantastic job TOG! Loved all the Live Video Feeds and Twitter pics. I'm sure you had a blast. Loved the pic of Robby & Kurt Busch sitting at athe table talking.

By the way, according to the RCR & Harvick sites, did you know Kevin had already tested his road course car, then at VIR yesterday and has like 2 or 3 more test sessions lined up. Looks like he's really trying to win the Cup Championship. (Could be a Robby vs Harvick battle again...we all know how that turned out!)
