The important thing at this point is to keep the car together and not try to recover too much time over the next few stages. We still have 14 more to go and every driver will end up with a least one mulligan. I know it would be nice if we were in the top 5 but a top 10 isn't that bad. Most of the time was lost missing a turn from the dust.
Actually, there are only 12 more timed Stages to go. After Stage 7 is a rest day and Stage 15 (Day 16 - 1/18/09) on the Dakar website is listed at 0km for both connections, the special, as well as total.
They did well!
I am working on Robby and Andy's horoscope's for stage 3...so far, so good:)
Do you want me to post them here on my page? They are at my blog every day, but I didn't know if it was ok to post them here or put a link up to them or not.
To be sitting in 10th after two stages is pretty sweet. These first two stages did not play to the H3's strengths. Now Robby just needs to drive with his head and not with his heart!
