Well, somewhere between driver points and owner points lies the truth.  So are we guaranteed for next week?  I guess I should be happy I didn't get to see Robby hit the wall from work, but I had foxnews race leaderboard up.  When the text says "cautions out, Robby Gordon into the wall"  it can make you angry, coupled with a full moon out...makes for a hostile work environment.

owners points 54 behind 35th.

54 points out of the top 35,behind the #34. Need 2 solid runs the next few weeks. You get 6 S&P's each week,so that makes 37th place the new "last place" ( for the most part ) .
Pray for more rained out Quals the next two races.
no rain in Phoenix...that's for sure.
Did you really expect Robby to have a solid run today? I think Robby and Martinsville might be the worst driver/track combo in all of nascar over the last 5 years
A DAY WE DIDNT NEED. IT SURE IS ODD THAT THE 42 BLEW A TIRE, HIT THE WALL, NO CAUTION, WHICH WE NEEDED TO STAY ON LEAD LAP. THEN ON THE SAME LAP OUR TIRE WENT. CAME OUT 2 LAPS DOWN BUT MUST HAVE BENT SOMETHING AND WENT DOWN MORE LAPS 'TILL WE BLEW ANOTHER TIRE AND WENT DOWN MORE LAPS. BUMMER.
I absolutely agree with you on this Bruce. Why was there no caution thrown more nascar against Robby??? Hey Tog what do you think on this one?

DW said something on that last lap caution about 'that looked like some of the others,' implying that NASCAR threw the flag for that incident just to get OT when earlier the had left the green out. Suits me; Jeff Gordon gagged up another win, so I was fine with it.

It was BS though.
Phoenix is a good race tracj for Robby, he should do fine there. Finish 20th and gain 33 points or so on the 38. (Thats who i think well catch.) Then Texas is a hit and miss with Robby, sometimes he runs well while other times he doesnt, hopefully a 25th place finish will get him close if not in before Talladega.
5th at Phoenix, 4th at Texas. Problems solved.
The car was fast and if it weren't for tire problems, who knows how it would have gone. No need for a sub driver
