Just read this article and wondered if there is any truth to it:

GORDON'S VACATION

When the Sprint Cup Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Robby Gordon will get the weekend off. This season his stock-car team has merged with BAM Racing, and for now, Gordon said, they have decided to run a limited
schedule to give the crew time "to build our fleet and prepare our
equipment to the highest industry standards."

He will return to his No. 7 Toyota at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 7. He's scheduled to do one more race after that — the Food City 500 at
Bristol Motor Speedway.

On Sunday, Gordon's Camry overheated in the closing laps of the race, and the longtime resident of Orange finished 33rd, 20 laps down.

Right now, Gordon is the team's only driver; however, he said a second car will be added at some point later this season.

dale, the REPORTER got it wrong. simple as that. This site isnt decked out in Monster colors for the hell of it .
Reading TOG's post of the older article and Robby's radio conference call, I would say he is going to be in Vegas. We will need to wait until tomorrow for NASCAR posting of the entries to be sure.
I certainly hope so... I've got better than $1000 sunk into flight and hotel reservations, track tickets, Neon Garage pass, etc. It would really suck to get there and have to figure out a different driver to watch and root for.....
Dude Danica will be there!
If every one in the world was as well informed as this guy we wouldn't need cnn. I love hearing people talk out they're ass.
I think that some people should start to pay attention to what this site says Robby's plans are as opposed to other sites or articles. If I was guessing, I would say that this site is a bit more accurate when it comes to Robby? Just a hunch.
Ya, Monster is gonna be on the 7 but not with Robby, ya that makes a lot of sense. Im sure Monster would just love that. Just think people, Monster, Robby's top Sponsor, at Las Vegas. Yep i think theyre gonna put David Stremme in the seven using a NEMCO chasis.
I believe that Robby is leaving the track to do other things is to get out there and attract more people to his name and talents to draw more sponsors for all of his programs. Mainly his Nascar programs.

Sold out arena's and televised for the Monster Truck events.
The very popular and always sold out and televised - X Games
Score International Races
Scheduled Appearances

The Monster truck events alone will be huge for Robby and RGM
The X Games will draw more attention to extreme sports enthusiasts to him and that will lead to Robby being incorporated into more video games and there revenue as well as increasing his Off Road and Nascar fan base.
That leads to Sponsorship! Sponsorship! Sponsorship!
Very soon Robby Gordon will be a household name.
Just a thought.
Entry List is up, and SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! Robby is in the #7 Monster Energy Toyota
Not the first time a newspaper messed up, and not the last !.. You should have seen when I tried to buy a HDTV for $99 because the paper misprinted the real price of $999.
Ummm, Dave, this thread is about the OC Register sports blurb. Look, up there, at the top.
