Versus back on DirectTV

Looks like all you DirecTV users now have Versus back, so all the IRL races and 2011 Dakar stuff can now be seen, just like the old days !

Only 1 day too late for Indycar, at least I can watch the rest. Watching Brazil on the computer with the radio feed pretty much sucked.

I guess my letter to DirecTV saying I was ending my service if they hadn't had their dispute with Versus fixed by the time the NHL Playoffs started worked. Very nice surprise today!

I TOLD THEM THE SAME THING IN 2 E-MAILS. MY HOMETOWN SABRES WE'RE ON LIKE 3 TIMES, HAD TO LISTEN TO GAMES ON THE RADIO, LIKE BACK IN THE DAY. THEN IN THE SAME TIME FRAME MY RATES WENT UP.

WHAT IS IT WITH THESE NETWORKS, CHARGING TO BROADCAST SHOWS. WHAT HAPPENED TO ADVERTISING PAYING FOR THIS.DONT TELL ME THE ADVERTISING COMPANYS DIDNT REALIZE HOW MANY HOMES WE'RE NOT CONNECTED DURING THE TIME OFF AIR. SEEMS TO ME IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LESS MONEY COMING IN.

I signed up for U-Verse last week and they install 3/18. Was spending $191 for 4 TV's, Turbo Internet and hard line phone from Direct & Time Warner. For the next 6 mos. it's $114 and then the standard rate of $163 and no long term contract obligation.
