Was Robby's engine blowing up or was there something else wrong?

First of i would like to thank Robby for his comment he said on his radio durning the race. As a fan of robby for the past 2 years i have grown to understand the nascar business better and understand more of what really goes into the sport. Also Robby you had it right when you said it PAINS us to see you park your car because we all want to see you race and we all believe you can perfrom at a high level. But i do understand it PAINS you more to park it than it pains us and like i said just wanted to say thanks for the nice speech you gave to all your fans who were listening.

Okay now real question was Robbys motor blowing up? he said on the radio "I swear this thing is blowing up" his lap times did fall off at the end. Didnt know if anyone knew anymore about this or if it was something else wrong with the engine.

we might never know for sure.

His times were falling off but couldn't see anything coming from the car when he turned into the garage area. Our seats were straight across from the entrance to pit road and the turn back to the garage.

i agree with the entire pains statements, phoenix is a long way to travel to s&p.

your incorrect,it's along way from NC to run an unpaid for long race.

His comments on the radio to his fans was the coolest thing I have ever seen a driver do. You could hear the pain and disappointment in his voice, and to even take the time to address US was pretty freaking cool. I know all of us don't always agree with each other on this board, but I think we can all agree that we want to see Robby be competitive on the track and successful in his bank account. Let's keep spreading the Speed Energy word, and do what WE can to help promote the brand. I'd be more than happy to volunteer my time for any Speed events in the Chicago area. Thanks Robby

What was said by Robby over the radio? Didn't hear it and haven't seen it posted anywhere.

he thank'd all that support him,and that S&P is harder on him than you,me,us. So true

What was the comment that Robby made on the radio?

Basically said this is for my fans listening.....We only have funding for a couple more laps today...it hurts him more than us to have to run this way.....thanked us for the support....hoped Speed Energy grows so it can one day sponsor the car full-time.

I found one of the Danicrash Patrick Hot Wheels from 2011 with the number 7 on it still hanging at a dollar general, went over to the spice isle and bought some sea salt and some charcoal lighter. the few customers that watched me in the parking lot thought it was pretty funny till I finished pouring the salt in the shape of a star with a circle around it, I placed the car in the center and as I was covering it with the fluid a small child came running over with a box of birthday candles yelling to me "hey mister you forgot these". Who says the younger generation is lost. Trying to do my best to support the spiritual side of things. And before you get angry with me the answer is no.
Gas On

Thanks, sucks to hear him way that but it's just the honest truth. If he didn't have speed energy, he probably wouldn't even be out there?

NO ONE WANTS ROBBY TO START & PARK these races any more--there is that song out there "Something's got to Give" either way our Robby needs to get attatched to a winning program - sell and drive with someone else, have Coors or Wall Street Journal buy him or CitiBank or Qualcomm, Time Warner, Cox Cable, Walmart, Sears, Nordstrom, Best Buy, or someone--a few motor's, a few new race cars will light the fire for him/US.

Dodge, Ford, Toyota, Chezy, Kia, Hummer it does not matter but we have to start "starting races like we mean it and race races like we want to win" Come on Robby work full time on getting the NASCAR program together. You are a proven winner at Off-Road racing and all the other racing.
Time is rip for Nascar and or Indy Car (I dislike Indy car) but something where he is respected, loved and disliked in those sports and we all love Robby being the Black Hat Cowboy with drive, talent and committment~!
