It sounds like Robby may not be running the full cup schedule, and that may disappoint alot of Robby's hardcore nascar fans. But what he plans on doing during his "off-weeks" has me absolutely excited. Robby says he is looking hard at running the Indy 500!! That alone would be awesome. But add in running the X-games rally race, building and (hopefully) running a monster truck, and running the Baja 500 & 1000. That is unbelievable. I am definitely looking forward to what 2010 will bring us as Robby Gordon fans, and I think it was worth the wait. What do you think??

i wouldnt pay per view it if RG wasnt there......Take that stewart...and maybe 7000 of my closet planets.....
Do what you got to do Robby as we all do to stay afloat at times, but dont think we wont miss you out at the track. I never miss being at Texas Motor Speedway and if you aren't there, it won't be the same.
Just kick ass at whatever you do Robby!!!!!!
Man....a bunch of great news! Robby sees the writting on the wall with NASCAR and he is looking to expand his fan base.......always has been a good business man.

My gut tells me.....if he can get support from Ganasi or Penske for INDY he'll be there.....I would doubt he would run unless he knows he has a shot at winning...Andretti doesn't give him that shot and the other two do.....but if it was Andretti..I'll be glad he's there anyway..
He has a better shot this year than he did in 2009,2008,2007,2006 & 2005
Well he can drive anything and he has 5000 miles there in an Indy car. And most of them were not in some choked out 200 inch v8... But with a rocket 1200hp CART car. He can win it any day he shows up.

Huge gain for him this year over any other year in the last decade? He gets to stay at INDY and work on the win. Not get dragged from one boring cup race to the next and try to squeez INDY into cup but rather cup is going to be squeezed into Indy. LIKE 1999 folks.

For the Win!
It's not the 2000 IRL 500. I don't see anyone coming in as a one off and being a real threat for the win. Even if they were to hook up with Penske or Ganassi, they're going to be too far down the totem pole for those teams.

Stranger things have happened, but to say it's highly unlikely is a gross understatement.
Andretti can't compete? I wouldn't judge the overall state of the team based on the on going piss poor performance of the two name drivers that drag the team down.

With that, I still can't stand Michael Andretti, so I'd rather see RG drive for just about anyone else....

Since Haas-Lanigan seems to be in the business of taking ride buyers (kinda like Andretti these days) they could be an option.

I don't see any reason for Penske to bother with anyone outside of his stable of drivers. And it would be a stretch for Chip to do so either.
I wish he would look at ken Schrader for his off weekends. Schrader could bring the Federated Auto Parts money in to Sponsor those races!
I now have no reason at all to watch NASCAR. Good luck in whatever you do Robby.
Nothing is written in stone as of yet....Keep the faith..." ya never know ".....those sly devils at RGM have plans no one knows about....plans change...an it will be "silly season" all year with great things to come!
Robby is fan gathering this year! sell more MONSTER
