What the "Must do" in Nashville a few days before Bristol

What a RG Fan got to do when in Nashville for the first time?  Thursday night before Bristol... I will be staying in the campgrounds just north of the Opry...  Any advise from the planet?  .. never been there before

Go to the Opryland Hotel, its just so neat even if your not staying there. There is even a tour boat that goes through a little man made stream in the hotel. You could probably spend a day there,

Go down to 2nd avenue - it's packed with restaurants/bars with live music coming out of every building. It's pretty cool atmosphere because a lot of the singers are waiting on that big break. You really see up close and personal people who are pursuing that dream of stardom.

Check out the Spaghetti Factory for dinner if you go downtown.

Oh, and if you are into music -- especially indie rock -- you might want to find Grimey's Music. It is out near Vanderbilt. Huge selection of new and used cds and vinyl.

Thanks.. Downtown on Thurday night for food/entertainment, then Opryland on Friday... off to Bristol early am Saturday is my plan.

Saturday night at the Bristol Speedway campground (motorhome terraces?)... I have a spot reserved. Thanks for the heads up, I will monitor the hwy conditions and hopefully they get it cleaned up before next weekend.
