Who is the Most Popular NASCAR Driver in the WORLD, not only in the US?

What is the number of viewers/followers of Dakar Rally? I'm sure this is more than the whole US population. This should answer above question right?

And SPEEDTV programmed racing.Monday recaps,Two wheel'd Tuesday,Wings and water Wendsday,ect,ect,
I still miss down under jet boat racing.

Agreed. I don't see why speed couldn't go to a local short track each weekend, set up the cameras and show just a plain jane race each week. I'd love it and it would only take 3-4 cameras. Remember when ESPN used to show open wheel and midgets on a regular basis? I'm with ya.

If the DAKAR was of true interest to the viewing public here in the USA, and sponsors were willing to step up for the TV advertising, you would have TV coverage on a grander scale. Same goes for the other Off-Road venues. It's all about the Benjamins.
