That to me was one of the best races I have ever seen....I have to say, I liked to see the James Finch underdog win. This is one of the only tracks on the schedule this is possible. Do you guys remember a better ending than this one? And CONGRATS Brad.....It was funny to see JR laugh about him winning. Jb

Really? That was NOT a good race. It was an exciting spectacle, but not racing. Everyone was at the mercy of sheer luck. You have to be a decent driver to survive and win at 'Dega, but being a good driver doesn't guarentee you of even having a chance if you don't have luck.

No, it was not a good race at all.
Best races??? Have you only watched demoliton derbies? A great race is watching a close finish between cars running rubber side down. James Finch may be the "underdog" but he's running another Hendrick car. A monkey could drive those things to the checkered. JR was probably laughting cause he's got a piece of that pie.
If you take out the two big accidents (about 23 cars involved in both), the scare at the end, and in between the accidents, the single file racing....... you have about 50 laps of decent racing. But overall, I don't think it was a good race.

When I'm watching a race, I like to see actual racing. Not wrecking, or the follow-the-leader type of racing that happened a few times (once when Junior was leading).
i thought the races on Saturday and Sunday were some of the best this year.some of you do not like the wreaks or the unskilled driver winning but IMO that is some of the best racing ever. i love the close side by side racing and the luck factor.
every week we see the same drivers hit the set up and walk away from the field and lap half the field by half way total boring.
but this weekend we see actual side by side racing lap after lap i cant even get up to hit the bathroom or the fridge until a yellow comes out now that is good racing.they need more plate tracks IMO.
exactly....Sick of seeing people win just because of equiptment.....except for Kyle, I think he could win in about anything...Hes not my favorite, but its true. I hate how people jump on the wagon to hate him because he beats poor little Jr. period...
Your teasing,Right?
That was racing?
you want to se good racing, where the driver is the one who wins and not lady luck? Darlington that now that is great racing.
and they got my favorite red and white stripes back on the wall.....ala Winston Cup Old School Style
I don't know what you all are thinking that was a GREAT race, I'll go as far as saying it's the best NASCAR race this decade.

As for wrecks, they're a part of racing, always has been always will be.
The best race this decade was the 2003 race at Darllington when Ricky Craven and Kurt Busch finished side by side with Kurt's car against the wall.
good call, I was going to say the BGN race at The Glen with Robby and Kurt
