Youtube Idea?? Gunna start a new busness, it gunna be an online show/Vlog about motorsports and ect..page included in link

I recently just gotten laid off from a long time employeer. Sucky economy finally hit us hvac techs. But I am reuniting a old dream. I wanted to start a Nascar channel on youtube and hopefully in a year or two be a youtube partner. I started doing it years ago, but never posted any videos and ect, But Now with all this free time while looking for a new job, I said why not. I have a $500 video recorder and ect. I wanted to just start a motorsports channel on youtube and who knows, maybe it can be a career....

So who thinks its a good idea, I know its far fetched, but Hey, doesn't hurt to try and ect.
My plan years ago was to do it on each driver and ect, like a select day for each driver...and have diff sponsors on the page each week. I know its very far fetch, but hey I am gunna try...I love the show top gear so I kinda want to do my own version of it online...plus blog about motorsports and ect.....

I was thinking the same thing. You might want to call it The Stock Car Channel or something else. NASCAR does not like anyone else using their name for your benefit. If I was to build a channel or something about following NASCAR I would try to do something completely different. Right now there are a dozen or more websites that follow the race and what happened.

What would be different would be to report what all the drivers and families are doing Mon-Thurs. I know there have been special segments on other shows and websites about this sort of thing. But make this your full topic.

Talk about Justin Lofton's Golf tournament coming up in January and what they are doing to prepare for it. Talk about other business or charities that the drivers or wife's might own or be involved in. Maybe mention a trade show or personal appearances the drivers are going to. What will the drivers be doing in the off season? What old car is Ron Horniday or Ryan Newman working on? What custom cars are these racers having built for them? How many know RG has a bitchen custom Caddie with Flames?

Talk about the other race teams these drivers own. Kasey Kahne has a really nice shop for his multi car sprint car team. Kasey's shop is a few doors down from JR Motorsports. David Reutimann owns two late model teams and his dad drives one of his cars. I dont know if Tony Stewart still owns his WoO teams? How about all these small tracks that guys like Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace own together, Tony Stewart owns a few tracks and Bobby Hamilton Jr has stepped away from the driver seat to become a track promoter and restaurant owner. Maybe show and how those tracks are surviving in this economy.

Also many might not know this but many trying to brake out into NASCAR work at different race shops during the week to pay their bills. Did anyone know Cale Gale who has raced a few races for Harvick with Rheem sponsorship works for KHI and for Turner when he is not getting the chance to race? I believe Parker Kligerman was doing the same thing. How many know that Brendon Gaughan is a dive master and has helped teach people to learn to dive. Do a where are they at segment. What is Harry Gant doing these days? What about former Truck Champion Jack Sprague?

Maybe I am the only one who would be interested in these sort of topics. But the fact is I can find out about the race anywhere. Why would I go to your You-Tube channel to find out what I can find anywhere else?

Call your show "Stock Car After Hours" BTW you use my idea's I expect some return!

Those are some great ideas, Todd. There's overkill coverage Friday thru Sunday but little for the other days of the week. There you go, Chuck. Focus on the off days.

I plan to do that aircros, thanks for the input man. I like that idea. My idea was see if speed energy would like to jump on cause I do drink it alot and funny enough i refuse to drink any other energy drink besides speed, and i'm not even sponsor by them, I just like the taste of speed and how much healthier it is for you.

I am in this big planning stage and plan the launch of the page in a week or two..short amount of time for a Big idea...Hope the pay back is worth it

I do need sponsorship on this page, but I won't be searching for that for awhile. I'm excited. I'm working with the guys from Fly rc and RC Driver to launch this page (I live in ct, and I fly rc planes and cars) So I'm very excited. I hope someday if I'm, big enough speed energy would jump on cause I Love it. I refuse to drink monster and everything...plus I got 5 cases i ordered of speed energy in my refrigerator.....I can't wait to launch this site...My dream is to make a buisness out of this youtube page and someday do the bullrun and gumball and stuff like that kinda like superspeederrob and matt farah did, the online world is magic
