02 Brandon Ash- Family team, made the race last year, he has the talent but most likely not the car to get into the show.
07 PJ Jones- Road Course specialist, made both races for RGM last year, in 2007 drove for MWR and was very sucessful including a 12th place finish at Sonoma. 
09 Jan Mangunssen- Road Specialist, but not in nascar. First ever nascar event, Hendrick car.
13 Max Papis- Road Specialist, expect him to be in top 10 most of the day.
26 Boris Said- Most sucessful ringer, finished 5th last year at Watkins Glen, expect him to be in top 10 most of the race.
36 Brian Simo- Road specialist, good at qualifying the car, not much more then that.
38 David Gilliland- Good Road racer, finished 2nd in 2008. But does he have a good enough car to make it?
46 JJ Yeley- Not a good road race, start and park maybe gets in show.
55 Michael Waltrip- Um, wow. Really?
66 Dave Blaney- Did make both road course races for the 66 last year, theyll be happy to make the show.
87 Joe Nemechek Good qualifier, made Sonoma but missed Watkins Glen last year, I am gonna guess he is the last one in.

This is how i predict the go or go homers qualify on Friday:
02 Ash- DNQ
07 Jones- 25th-30th 
09 Mangunssen- 35th-40th
13 Papis- Top 15
26 Said- Top 10
36 Simo- 35th-40th
38 Gilliland 30th-35th
46 Yeley- DNQ
55 Waltrip- DNQ
66 Blaney- 40th-43rd
87 Nemechek- 40th-43rd

I agree with your predictions with the exception of Magnussen. I think he'll qualify 20th - 25th.

We all know Boris is a great road racer but the 26 team isn't what it once was. A top 10 starting spot may be a little generous.

Ok, 26 needs to blow a corner too....#71 will be out of the owners race soon...after that, we should be good.

Surprising fact (to me, anyway): Michael Waltrip has completed the most laps of any NASCAR driver at Infineon Raceway. He has completed 1,770 of 1,999 laps run in Sonoma

MW stunk up the track today.....not tenths...but seconds, and more seconds...and I thought he had a good chance....oh well.
