Looks like I will be heading down to San Felipe on the 18th to catch the loop of action. Feel free to join me.
Que pasa, we will all have a great time.
Robby Gordon pre-ran Baja on Monday
Did you hear any direct reports on how he felt the track was? I've been told the first 350 miles is where all the bad stuff is, then when you get to San Felipe it is the same track as San Felipe and the 500.
all of it on one day? or did he split it up,do you know if he did light testing on the truck like he normally does or not really.
OK EVERYONE
lets see a show of hands if you going to follow RG on live tracking and listening to weatherman until WE FINISH
I'm going to really enjoy following the Baja 1000! We all should enjoy it as it will be the last time RG will be racing in the SCORE series for a while. Looking at the SCORE site, their 2010 schedule it shows Laughlin being on January 15-17.. Robby will be wrapping up the Dakar Rally on the 17th. Next date would be San Felipe March 12th - 14th, which would be an off-week in the NASCAR schedule... and the 2010 Baja 500 is June 4th - 6th, which happens to be the 1st Pocono race weekend.
I am guessing Laughlin is out because of Dakar...but he should make all the other races.
For Laughlin robby will get his dad or someone to race his Truck to get the pts. Hell his sister can drive better than most of us!! Anyways he'll find a fill-in to keep everuone happy.
Don't think Robby gets the points unless he starts the race...like NASCAR.
Stupid of SCORE to schedule thier first race to overlap the Dakar Rally. You'd think they'd like to encourage off-road racers to participate in both series.
Maybe they scheduled it this way for those racers who can't go to Dakar . Who knows why they decided to schedule the race then .
