The 2013 World Superbike Championship will make its live U.S. television debut on beIN SPORT television on Saturday night.
BeIN Sport, which has the U.S. broadcast rights to World Superbike, will show the first race live in the U.S.on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. EST. (Phillip Island is 16 hours ahead of EST.) Though the beIN SPORT website doesn't list WSB on their schedule, a spokesperson confirmed the time slot. It will also be available live online through the beIN SPORT website.
BeIN SPORT TV, which is owned jointly by Time Warner Cable of New York and Al Jazeera, is a sports channel that primarily broadcasts the top levels of European soccer, but also televises tennis, golf, volleyball, boxing, rugby and basketball. It's currently available on DISH and DIRECTTV, as well as in many areas on Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, and Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico.

New news, SPEED has re-up'd to cover MotoGP.
word has it http://www.beinsport.tv/ will stream WorldSBK via the web in addition to TV.Saturday's opener was listed at 8:00pm/est, actual time for race 1 is now reportedly 7:30pm/est and race 2 at 11:00pm/est
as I set the TiVO box to record Phillip Island, the DTV guide had the listing from 7:30 all the way thru 12:00. Just maybe we'll also get the SuperSport and SuperStock events? maybe ,just maybe.
And for those of us stuck with cable (not DTV), what network would that be?
