Good interview with Kurt Caselli here - http://www.dirtrider.com/features/caselli-wins-ruta-40-rally-husky-...
That's so awesome! I was just looking at the results from yesterday on marathonrally and saw that Kurt was only 35 sec behind and I was wondering if he could pull it off with the splits so close. I am glad that an American is at the top of the podium!
Wow! Great job Kurt. Plus the experience will only help for DAKAR 2014.
Kurt Caselli takes the final stage and wins the overall !!!

After running 2nd today, Kurt Caselli stands in 3rd overall -1min. 39sec. from the lead and -23 sec. from 2nd. I still haven't seen any explanation on the 1 min. "criminal", but others got the same today. A very impressive showing considering he got lost for a good 5 minutes yesterday before stopping to help Coma with gas or some fuel pickup issue!
Gotcha.. kinda like SHR basically being a satellite team for Hendrick. Hate using that analogy but its fitting.
@Kevin no explanation on the penalty yet. Go back 1 page in comments here for Speedbrain news, but they are helping HRC as well as providing support for customers. Lot's of stuff I can't post here, but maybe a Planet Premium thread is in order for some stuff I learned recently.
It is good for Caselli to be riding more rallies. More experience will allow him to build on last years two stage wins on the factory ride at Dakar. Not gonna lie my spanish sucks, what did Kurt get the minute penalty for? And.. I thought Speedbrain was liquidated?
