Date the hummers are being SHIPPED!!!

They have already sent a support truck,chase hummers, and parts when does the other Support truck and Hummers get Shipped. Last year RG did the Videos with FHM Mag. in Palm Springs, but is going to do some testing in Glamis or Shock test in Parker Again. We watch him on Shea road a year ago and it was amazing. Anyhow Go Robby Go!!!

How much more testing are they going to be doing. GPS,NAVstuff, a basic shake down or what?

No GPS allowed in Dakar, so they shouldn't bother practicing with that. Andy G. is probably one of the best Dakar navigators around, so, other than working on the communication between Nav & Driver, they're probably good on that.

Shaking out the cars some more I'd imagine, and just getting used to being in them for extended periods again.

Robby always ships the hummer out at the last possible chance. It is the RGM style, always tinkering till the end.

Will Robby be having his own gas shipped as well. VP or Trick something that is not contaminated, like a few years ago when he had to clean the injectors one by one. Sabotage, they stopped him in the sand dune where he was good.

Was it necessary to ship the Hummers to LeHavre for scrutineering and shipment to SA on the official ASO freighters? Or can RG (and other NA competitors) ship direct to SA?

Straight to Argentina. Final scrutineering is there. LaHavre was, I think, a convinience for the European competitors.

Thanks for the response. I can't wait for the race to begin!! I am a bike fan mostly. On the 4 wheel side I route for RG!!! Especially this year against the VW onslaught.
