Connection 112 km | Special Stage 238 km | Connection 236 km | Total 586 km

Course Overview

The end of the journey through the Atacama will remind all that Chile is mainly spread out on hilly territories. The vegetation is dense and varied and the competitors will be able to notice that on the road to Santiago. On the many hills, they will also have to get used to more and more sinuous tracks where trajectory mistakes can cost many minutes, or even hours. There is much more to loose than to win on the day's stage.

Since the end of stage 2 BJ has picked up 94 positions .Not bad for a beginner! All in all not abad day for the men in black.

Both lost overall time which leaves me thinking survival mode.
Both however gained in the overall.

stage 9 video is up at www.robbygordon.com and they moved the camera to the dash, and you get a much better idea of what the dunes looked like from inside the car.

It's only up during each stage, and todays stage started very early for the hummers . Once all the Hummers arrive, It goes off usually an hour afterwards.
