Randy, dont kid your-self, I have done this race for 7 years, both Africa and SA Dakar, and I dont see happening yet this time either. He will win some stages, yes, but to take the win takes allot of other variables to play out right.and yes he will be fast and spectaculer as allways but, to get the win is not that easy as the Baja 1000, and Robby knows this. Dont get mad with what I am saying, but the people who have done this race with Robby know this allso. I know some of the guys and yes they are a great group of peopl, and all very tallented, but, this race is unlike any other race on the planet. I wish him and his team the best of luck, and if they do win, I will be the first one to say I was wrong. But lets see what happens after the 16 days of racing? by the 10th day you will have a pretty good idea of whats going to play out. Best of luck to Pedro, JT, and Roger, and Kyle, Jimmy and the rest of the guys at RGM...Be safe all of you and come home in one piec, and make the yanks proud.

Saw an article that stated Carlo's & Chile Tourism are trying to raise $1.5 mil to rent a ride from BMW this year.

Having a third truck on course is a great thing, but who will pony up a million to run that third truck?

Good Morning Everyone!!

Happy Birthday Robby!! …….And Best of Luck to Team Hummer!!

I’m new here and just joined this morning. Still don’t know where I should be , but I’ll find my way around here.
Hoping to follow along to a victorious Dakar race. Last year I tried the Dakar site, it was ok but not really what I was looking for. I would rather watch the highlights on the Vs. channel. Which I have already set my DVR to record all shows.
