Yeah...for all those who thought he was going to pick up right where Smoke left off.......

He has been through what 4 cars so far........

I hope he is a good qualifier...after the 5th race.......he is going to need to be in order to race....
Joe Gibbs is smacking his head somewhere right now.

Hes a decent driver, but has a huge lack of experience. He was successful in the lower teirs of racing because his Dads money bought him good equipment up to a point, then he signed with Gibbs as a development driver and their equipment was better than everyone elses.

I wish I had that luck growing up in racing. I dont dislike the kid because of it, just stating facts.
I will try to get a pre-qualifying report from RG, but I won't promise anything. Being that this is a west coast race, he has alot of friends and family around so his time is limited I am sure.
Oh come on, the way this site is promoting RGM, I am surprised he doesnt take time to text you while hes running practice laps... :)
whos 2nd?
AJ in the #44. Jay Frye must be smacking his head too. He has to watch AJ walk out the door, and a total moron walk in. I speak from personal experience with Scott. He has more ups, downs, and personality changes than any driver I have met. (I was going to say something else, but I cleaned it up)

He was somewhat normal before winning the RB driver search, but then he went over to Europe and tried to become a carbon copy of every Finnish driver in F1. (Short, to the point, acts like you are wasting his time with any question) Now he is in Nascar acting like a jokester and some sort of fashion expert. Odd...
Looks like NASCAR.com's live leader board is now working for me. 48-Johnson 1st, 44-Allmendinger 2nd, 11-Hamlin 3rd, 5-Martin 4th, 14-Stewart 5th. Robby is still 7th.
timing and scoring at Foxtrax is catching up. Yes, Robby is in q-trim.
are most of the cars running race set-ups?
Who knows.

In other news, look at the split between the slow and fast. Over 10mph! Thats almost three seconds a lap. To put that in perspective, that means the leader will lap them in almost 14 laps. Nascar might have to police those field fillers so they dont end up getting run over.
Did they show RGs car? Is it as offset in the rear as his cars were towards the end of last year? (Darrell Watrip says crabbing, I refuse to use terms he uses)

I hope David Gilliland makes the race. He got the shaft at Yates. I have heard rumblings that Nascar themselves orchestrated the Ask.com deal to help Yates get a sponsor and to have past Champion Bobby Labonte in a car this year. I like Bobby, but if the powers that be in the France family did that, who knows where their meddling and favortism will end... (look at my past posts, I am the last to scream conspiracy)
hes on the track now, had a wide shot of him and a few others.
