@redlinetech, If I'm looking at it right I think the filter is just their as a spare, they basically welded a little nub on the chassis & then tightened the filter onto it so that (as long as it doesn't work itself off) they have a spare breather filter should they need it.

Then again there could be some kind of overflow tubing running through the chassis (or something to do with inflation system?) and that's what it's attached too..??

I know nothing about mechanics, but should you use hose clamps to secure the exhaust? I think I have that fire extinguisher on my pontoon boat!

Tube Frame Filter?
It looks like they also moved the water pipes further from the spares ( Nassar McGiver 2012, remember..)
Modified Spare Tire Lower mounts?
